How charity car washes work
A team, school or nonprofit borrows a parking lot for a morning, sets out buckets and signs, and washes cars for a set price or a donation. The money goes straight to their cause β uniforms, trips, medical bills, animal rescue, you name it.
Most run on a Saturday between 9 AM and 3 PM, and many are cash-only, so bring a few bills. A $10β$20 donation is typical; tipping extra is always appreciated.
